Denholm-NDT deal seals future for heat treatment business

We are delighted to announce that the division successfully completed the purchase of NDT’s heat treatment and leaksealing assets on 1 December 2007, enabling Denholm Zholdas to provide heat treatment and leak sealing services inhouse.

NDT provide a range of specialist subcontract services to Denholm Zholdas and the companies have built a close working relationship over a number of years.

Graham Potts, Divisional Managing Director, said “The acquisition represents an important part of our strategy to build upon the portfolio of services we offer our customers”.

As part of the deal, Tom Bell has agreed to continue to support and develop the business on a consultancy basis. NDT will continue to provide Denholm with a wide range of inspection services.

A number of NDT employees working on heat treatment and leak sealing projects will now be employed by Denholm. Denholm Zholdas’ Managing Director, Graeme Milne welcomed the employees to Denholm, saying “We have always had a close working relationship with these NDT employees, and are delighted to welcome them as part of the DZ team”.
